Derby Boy is a 3-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Vince Gibson. He is the offspring of the stallion Private Gold and the mare Grand Baylee. Throughout his career, Derby Boy has secured one victory. On May 25, 2024, at Emerald Downs, he was ridden by Isaias Enriquez and achieved his most notable win so far, taking first place in the $5,985 Maiden Claiming race, beating Sir Looking Glass.
