Defend Yourself is a 5-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Antonio Machado. He is the offspring of the stallion Noble Bird and the mare Heartache. So far, Defend Yourself has not achieved maiden status, having lost his only race attempt. In his latest outing at Tampa Bay Downs on December 23, 2022, he was ridden by Angel Arroyo and finished in 5th place, trailing behind the winner, Bosshog Them Dukes.
