De Venus is a 5-year-old bay gelding from Australia, trained by Mark C Webb, who operates out of Cranbourne. He is the offspring of the stallion De Gaulle and the mare Avienus. So far, De Venus has won one race in his career. On April 23, 2024, at Sale, he was ridden by Arron Lynch and achieved his most notable victory to date, winning the $27,000 4yo+ Maiden Set Weight race, where he outperformed Cyclone Cara. Throughout his career, he has proven to be a profitable horse for bettors; backing De Venus from the start would have yielded a 113 percent return on investment.
