Cortese is a 7-year-old female horse from Japan, trained by Hitoshi Sakai. She is the offspring of the stallion Monterosso and the mare Yuwa Zephyrus. Throughout her career, Cortese has achieved one victory. On July 14, 2023, at Sonoda, she was ridden by Wataru Hirose and secured her biggest win to date, earning $670,319 by defeating Curvy.
