Catemaco is a 7-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by K. Mulhall. He is the offspring of the stallion Girolamo and the mare Diaphanous. Catemaco has not yet achieved maiden victory, having raced 9 times without a win. In his latest race at Santa Anita on October 28, 2023, he was ridden by Geovanni Franco and placed 5th, trailing behind the winner, Grazed.
