Catavar

Catavar is a 4-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Tony Rivalland. He is the offspring of the stallion Var and the mare Catskill Queen. Catavar has not yet achieved a victory, having competed in 12 races without a win. In his latest race at Greyville on October 27, 2024, Catavar, ridden by Mathew Thackeray, finished in third place, trailing behind the winner, Lions Eye.
