Castilleja is a 7-year-old mare from the United States, trained by Michael Pino. She is the offspring of the stallion Lord Shanakill and the mare La Mure. Throughout her career, Castilleja has achieved one victory. Her most notable win occurred on February 27, 2023, at Philadelphia Park, where she was ridden by Mychel Sanchez. In that race, she triumphed in the $47,880 Allowance Optional Claiming event, beating Spanikopita.
