Carbonel is a 5-year-old mare from the United States, trained by Juan Gutierrez. She is the offspring of the stallion Lemon Drop Kid and the mare Panther Strike. Carbonel has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having competed in 14 races without a win. In her latest race at Canterbury Park on September 27, 2024, she was ridden by Brayan Pena and placed 12th, finishing behind the winner.
