Caracal is a 5-year-old bay gelding from France, trained by J.P. O’Brien, who operates out of Kilkenny. He is the offspring of the stallion Zelzal and the mare Caramanta. So far in his career, Caracal has won three races. His most notable victory occurred on September 3, 2023, at Tipperary, where he was ridden by C. Stone-Walsh and won the $10,500 Meadowview Stables Race, beating Lust.
