Captin Dia is a 3-year-old filly trained by Sung-j Kwon. She is the offspring of the stallion Gumpo Sky and the mare Miss Diane. Captin Dia has not yet achieved maiden victory, having lost both of her races. In her latest race at Busan on July 30, 2023, she was ridden by Shin Yun Seob and finished in 11th place, trailing the winner, Captain Commando.
