Candidat is a 5-year-old female horse from Argentina, trained by Carlos Etchechoury. She is the offspring of the stallion Equal Stripes and the mare Candynella. Candidat has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having not won in her single race attempt. In her latest outing at San Isidro on July 20, 2023, she was ridden by Adrian Maximiliano Giannetti and finished without placing, trailing behind the winner, Jurassico.
