Canavero is a 3-year-old dark bay or brown colt from the United States, trained by Joseph Orseno. He is sired by The Factor and is out of the mare Rubytheheartstealr. So far, Canavero has not won a race, having made three attempts without success. In his latest race at Gulfstream on March 1, 2024, he was ridden by Jorge Ruiz and came in second place, finishing behind the winner, Trucker.
