Briar

Briar is a 7-year-old brown mare from New Zealand, trained by Guy Lowry. She is the offspring of the stallion Sacred Falls and the mare Rosehip. Briar has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having failed to win in 14 races. In her last race at Taupo on December 30, 2022, Briar, ridden by Joe Kamaruddin, finished out of the placings, trailing behind the winner, Con Artist.
