Bornholm is a 6-year-old bay gelding from New Zealand, trained by Meg Cunneen, who operates out of Riccarton Park. He is the offspring of the stallion Burgundy and the mare Tanzer. Bornholm has not yet achieved maiden status, as he has not won any races in 19 attempts. In his latest race at Wingatui on January 13, 2024, he was ridden by Tina Comignaghi and placed 10th, finishing behind the winner, Lucienne.
