Befana

Befana is a 4-year-old filly from Japan, trained by Takeshi Matsushita. She is the offspring of the stallion Epiphaneia and the mare Ave. Throughout her career, Befana has achieved one victory. On March 25, 2023, at Chukyo, she was ridden by Katsuma Sameshima and secured her biggest win to date, earning a prize of $7,461,776 by defeating Pascali.
