Battle Scars is a 5-year-old female horse from Japan, trained by Akihiko Shoji. She is the offspring of the stallion Lani and the mare Gustnado. Battle Scars has not yet achieved maiden success, having failed to win any of her 29 races. In her latest outing at Ohi on August 17, 2024, she was ridden by Hisayoshi Higashihara and came in 8th place, trailing the winner.
