Bastion is a 5-year-old colt from the United States, trained by Thomas Albertrani. He is sired by Union Rags and his dam is Star Grazing. Bastion has not yet achieved maiden victory, having lost both of his races so far. In his latest outing at Saratoga on September 5, 2023, he was ridden by Junior Alvarado and ended up unplaced, finishing behind the winner Lt. Mitchell.
