Baikal, a seven-year-old bay gelding, was bred in France and is trained by the P&F & Renaut team. Sired by Le Havre and out of the mare Changeable, Baikal is still seeking its first victory after 13 races. In its most recent outing at Clairefontaine on July 27, 2024, Baikal, ridden by C Lecoeuvre, secured a third-place finish.
