Backspin

Backspin is a two-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by R Hughes at Upper Lambourn. He is the offspring of the stallion Hello Youmzain and the mare Spinworthy. Backspin has not yet achieved maiden status, as he has not secured a victory in his single race attempt. In his latest outing at Sandown on June 14, 2024, Backspin, ridden by W Buick, finished in ninth place, trailing behind the winner.
