Awesome Cajun is a dark bay or brown four-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by James Coats. This horse is a progeny of the stallion Awesome Slew and the mare Absolute Madness. So far, Awesome Cajun has achieved one victory in his racing career. On July 28, 2023, at Evangeline Downs, ridden by C J McMahon, he secured his most notable win to date by claiming the $6,350 Maiden Claiming race, finishing ahead of his competitors.
