Avoontoast

Avoontoast, a five-year-old mare, was bred in South Africa and is trained by Joey Soma. She is the offspring of stallion Twice Over and dam Rodeo Sioux. Avoontoast has achieved three victories in her racing career. Her most notable win came on March 25, 2023, at Turffontein. Ridden by S Khumalo, she won the $56,250 Derby Day Fun 1 April Maiden Plate, a race for fillies and mares, beating out Call To Glory.
