Apophis

Apophis is a three-year-old bay gelding from the United States, trained by Layne Giliforte. It is the offspring of the stallion Candy Ride and the mare Five N Forty. Apophis has not yet won a race, having competed twice without a victory. In its latest race at Woodbine on August 25, 2024, Apophis, ridden by Amanda Vandermeersch, finished in third place, trailing behind the winner, Rapid Grey.
