Almalane

Almalane is a 4-year-old chestnut gelding from New Zealand, trained by Peter G. Didham at Awapuni. He is the offspring of the stallion Almanzor and the mare Lovers Lane. Almalane has not yet won a race, having made seven attempts without success. In his latest race at Awapuni Synthetic on July 25, 2024, he was ridden by Masahiro Hashizume and finished in third place, behind the winner High Lane Princess.
