Afternoon Nap is a four-year-old chestnut gelding from the United States, trained by Carla Gaines. It is a progeny of the stallion Practical Joke and the mare Julie Napp. So far, Afternoon Nap has secured one victory in its racing career. On October 5, 2024, at Santa Anita, with A Fresu as the jockey, Afternoon Nap achieved its most notable win by claiming the $32,400 Maiden Special Weight, beating Miss Jo’s Curlin.
